They spread the pressure of a vehicle’s stabilisers or outriggers on any terrain where load bearing capacity is an issue. This helps prevent jack legs or stabilisers from puncturing the ground, which can cause vehicles and plant equipment to become unstable – or even to topple over.
All of our pads are manufactured from high performance polyethylene, a lightweight yet extremely strong and durable material designed to support the toughest lifting applications. There are three types of material available UHMWPE, HDPE and HMWPE.
Our pads are resistant to water, oil and chemicals – so they won’t splinter or corrode like the more traditional wooden and steel alternatives! They’re also incredibly tough and durable, withstanding intense vertical pressures and adapting to the working surface, yet retaining their shape when removed. They are also an affordable alternative to aluminium pads.

Most of our spreader plates, ground mats and crane mats are sufficiently lightweight for manual handling – and many have integrated handles to make this process quick and easy. However, our larger pads for heavy plant and mobile cranes will require a forklift or similar lifting equipment.
Our lightweight, fully-galvanized stowage holsters can be bolted onto the side of a mobile crane for safe and secure stowage. Our unique Smart Store is specially designed for our Multi Mat system.

We do both! We aim for next-day delivery on all UK orders received by 2pm. So we have extensive experience in shipping to all parts of the globe.
Our range of outrigger pads and mats are largely maintenance-free. We do recommend that you regularly clean them - pressure washing with cold water will do the job. We also offer an inspection service for the larger crane mats and Multi Mat System range. Ask for details.
Yes, they are fully-recyclable at their end of life.
